About the Advocates Mentoiring Process

The Advocates currently have 17 mentors working with our scholarship students. They are dedicated, caring people who provide various types of support to the student. A mentor meets with each student every few weeks to ensure that the college experience and studies are going well. There are two mentors assigned to each student to assure that continued support will always be available to the student.
This year we will need  additional mentors to be paired with the 2017 scholarship winners. If any current member or non-member would like to be involved, please contact us as we will provide  training for you . It is a moving experience to watch these energetic young people develop professionally before your eyes.
